These terms
These terms govern your use of this website. Work we carry out for you is governed by the separate written contract for that project, which takes precedence over anything on this site if the two ever differ.
Information on this site is not a quotation
Every price band, benchmark, calculator result and worked example on this site is compiled from published national cost guides and contractor marketplaces and is provided for orientation only. It is not an offer, it does not bind us, and it cannot account for what a survey would find. A binding price is only ever given in a written quotation following an on-site survey.
Regulatory and technical information
Descriptions of building regulations, permitting requirements, statutory warranty periods and incentive schemes are summaries current at the date shown, provided to help you understand the shape of a project. They are not legal, tax or financial advice, they change, and they cannot substitute for advice on your specific property from a qualified professional.
Quotations and contracts
A quotation states the scope, the specification, the price and its validity period. The price does not change unless the scope changes or a condition arises that the survey could not reasonably have identified — and in that case we provide photographic evidence, a written description and a price for your approval before any additional work is carried out.
Guarantees
Our workmanship guarantee, any applicable manufacturer product guarantee and your statutory rights are three separate things with different issuers, durations and scopes. They are set out individually in your contract and summarised on the warranty page of this site. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, imagery, drawings and the RoofPruf name and marks, belongs to RoofPruf or its licensors. You may not reproduce it commercially without written permission.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published on this website rather than on a written quotation or contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of your country of residence.
